Roee Morag is a multidisciplinary artist working across painting, experimental photography, video, and sound. His practice examines how visual memory can be fragmented and reimagined.

In Painted Memories (2025), archival family photographs are projected onto abstract painted surfaces, letting photographic memory dissolve into painterly gesture. His experimental photographic work incorporates film, digital cameras, scanners, and post-processing techniques to fragment and reconstruct visual narratives through layered image-making processes. Recent work includes All Beware the Beast (2026), a stop-motion animation made during a residency in Rome that works through the friction between abstraction and figuration.

His work has been featured in Spectaculum Magazine and Edge of Humanity Magazine, and shown in group exhibitions at Golden Duck Gallery (Budapest), Koool (Tel Aviv), CICA Museum (South Korea), and Pandora Art Gallery (Berlin). He is based between Tel Aviv and Rome.
