Painting Series

This series, created during a 2025-2026 residency in Rome, Italy, moves through different scales, each painting a distinct size, yet bound by a familiar palette that returns with a quiet insistence. This series utilizes the same color palette across multiple paintings to see how every surface can hold, resist, or give way. Paint shifts from thick, physical pools to thin, liquid stains. Between these gestures, something personal emerges, like a memory searching for its form. This series engages between liquidity and structure, between what is built and what seems to pour itself out. In this balance, the paintings remain open, a quiet, unfinished conversation between material and meaning.
